AZR Agro Centre was established in 2006 and is wholly owned propriety of Bumiputra which specialises in Agriculture and agro based industries. Various agro products were marketed by AZR namely the cultivation of earthworms, leeches, eels and other organic herbs and vegetables and also aquaculture.

Driven by competent professionals and strong workforce behind AZR, various products were introduced in promoting a holistic approach towards a healthy and nature-friendly lifestyle namely leech bloodletting (bekam lintah), Ling Zhi based products, Aloe Vera based products and cosmetics from worm extracts, among others.

AZR Agro Centre also aims to effectively fulfill its duties to catalyze the development of pharmaceutical production, biotechnology and related sectors throughout the state whilst giving stronger emphasis on entrepreneur intensification especially among Bumiputras.

Having a visionary leadership on-board certainly pays off because today, AZR is spearheading the vermiculture industry in Malaysia as it managed to garner a strong community of vendors under its flagname and also establishing an international branch in Solo, Indonesia under its 'ASEAN invasion' plan.
